Cookie policy

Last updated May 10, 2026

What we store in your browser, why, and how to control it.
01

What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. It helps the site remember information about your visit, for example whether you are signed in. The cookies AurBox uses are exclusively technical: essential for the service to work.

02

Cookies we use

These are the only cookies AurBox sets when you use the service:

CookiePurposeTypeDurationOrigin
_aurbox_session_tokenKeep you signed in (authentication).Strictly necessary24h / 30 daysFirst-party
_aurbox_sessionTechnical application session (Rails).Strictly necessaryBrowser sessionFirst-party

We also keep your light/dark theme and language preferences in your browser's local storage (localStorage, which is not a cookie and is never sent to our servers).

03

No analytics or third-party cookies

We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party cookies (for example, we do not use Google Analytics). Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary to provide the service you request, no prior consent is required and no cookie banner is shown, in line with article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI and the AEPD guidelines.

04

How to manage them

You can delete or block cookies at any time from your browser settings. Since ours are technical cookies, blocking them will prevent you from signing in and using the service normally.

05

Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example, analytics), we will update this policy, inform you and ask for your consent through a banner before setting them. Any change will be published here with a new date at the top.
